Meet Sarah O’Connor: Galway’s Creative Problem-Solver
Sarah O’Connor is a hobbyist and environmental enthusiast based in Galway. With a passion for sustainability, Sarah wanted to create a product that could make a real difference in people’s lives. Her latest invention, the EcoFlow Water Filter, is a compact, portable water filtration system designed to provide clean drinking water for outdoor adventurers and emergency situations.

The Challenge
Before discovering PrintIn3D, Sarah faced several challenges. Finding an affordable and reliable 3D printing service in Ireland was no easy task, and she struggled to bring her intricate designs to life with the precision she needed. The EcoFlow Water Filter required a durable and lightweight material, as well as a design that could withstand real-world use.

The PrintIn3D Solution
At PrintIn3D, we helped Sarah turn her vision into reality using our Bambu Lab A1 printer. With its impressive build volume of 256 x 256 x 256 mm³ and advanced slicing capabilities through BambuStudio, we were able to produce a high-quality prototype that met all her requirements.

For this project, we used PLA Matte Charcoal filament, chosen for its strength and sleek finish. The EcoFlow Water Filter prototype was printed with precision, ensuring that every detail of Sarah’s design was captured perfectly. Once completed, the print was carefully packaged and delivered to Sarah in Galway within 3 working days, thanks to our reliable nationwide service via An Post.

The Results
Sarah was thrilled with the results. “PrintIn3D made the entire process so easy,” she shared. “The quality of the print exceeded my expectations, and the fast delivery meant I could start testing my prototype right away.”

The EcoFlow Water Filter is now in the testing phase, with Sarah planning to make a few design tweaks before moving to production. She’s already exploring new ideas for future projects, and PrintIn3D will be her go-to partner for bringing them to life.
