Why Use This Checklist?

Our Bambu Lab A1 printer is equipped with advanced capabilities, including a maximum build volume of 256 x 256 x 256 mm³ and support for PLA materials in Matte Charcoal, Basic Gray, and Jade White. By preparing your files correctly, you can ensure the best results, reduce the chance of errors, and save time.

1. File Format Verification

• Confirm your file is compatible with our slicing software, BambuStudio.

• Ensure your file fits within the printer’s dimensions: 256 x 256 x 256 mm³.

• Properly orient your file for optimal printing.

2. Model Structure Check

• Verify wall thickness (minimum 1.2mm recommended).

• Add support structures for overhangs greater than 45°.

• Ensure your model is manifold (watertight).

• Review for proper overhangs and avoid unnecessary complexities

3. Material Considerations

• Choose the appropriate PLA material for your project:

  • Matte Charcoal (11101)

  • Basic Gray (10103)

  • Jade White (10100)

• Consider the strength and durability requirements of your part.

4. Print Quality Optimization

• Set the correct layer height for your desired resolution.

• Adjust infill percentage based on part strength needs.

• Check the top and bottom layer counts for a smooth finish.

• Orient your model for the best surface quality.

5. Quality Assurance Steps

To avoid common issues like stringing, layer separation, or under-extrusion:

• Review cooling and bed adhesion settings.

• Check layer adhesion to prevent warping.
